Breaking: CBI Enters National Testing Agency Office Amid NEET Probe

The NEET paper leak controversy has intensified further as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has now reached the office of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The development comes at a time when the NEET examination has already been cancelled, leaving nearly 23 lakh students across the country in uncertainty and raising serious questions about the integrity of the examination system. According to on-ground reports, CBI officials entered the NTA premises to examine documents, digital records, and internal communication linked to the alleged paper leak. The investigation is being seen as a crucial step in tracing the origin of the leak and identifying the network responsible for compromising one of India’s largest medical entrance examinations. The controversy has sparked nationwide protests and political debate. Student organisations, including the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), were seen demonstrating outside the NTA office, demanding strict action against those responsible and transparency in the ongoing investigation. Protesters emphasized that the issue goes beyond politics and directly affects the future of millions of aspirants. While authorities have assured a thorough investigation, concerns remain among students and parents about whether the probe will lead to concrete accountability or remain limited to procedural action. The scale of the alleged irregularities has also raised questions about systemic failures in exam management and oversight. Officials have maintained that the investigation is in its early stages and all angles are being examined, including possible internal lapses and external involvement in the leak. Further findings from digital forensics and interrogation are expected to play a key role in determining the direction of the case.
