Addressing the House, a BJP leader strongly questioned Congress over its repeated allegations of vote theft and challenged the party to present concrete evidence. He said that if vote manipulation actually occurred, Congress should clearly explain on which three occasions and at what specific times it happened. Referring to history, he mentioned the Nehru-Patel leadership debate and alleged irregularities despite limited support. He also raised questions about Sonia Gandhi’s name appearing on the electoral roll in 1980 before she became an Indian citizen. The leader pointed out that Congress does not question EVMs when it wins elections but raises doubts whenever BJP emerges victorious. Citing elections in Telangana, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Priyanka Gandhi’s own win, he accused Congress of double standards. He urged Rahul Gandhi to approach the Election Commission or courts if there are genuine concerns instead of making political statements at rallies.
