Ayodhya, November 25, 2025 – Five years after the once desolate landscape, Ayodhya has been transformed into a vibrant spiritual hub, welcoming devotees from across India. The newly constructed Ram Mandir, now fully complete, is set to host a historic flag-hoisting ceremony by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Thousands of devotees have gathered near the temple complex, eager to witness the celebrations, although public entry into the main premises remains restricted due to security arrangements. The area surrounding Ram Mandir has seen extensive beautification, including decorated streets, flower-laden pathways, and enhanced facilities for visitors. Devotees, some arriving barefoot in devotion, have traveled long distances from states such as Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal to pay homage. Despite not being able to enter the main courtyard, they are participating in the festivities from designated vantage points like Hanumangarhi and Saryu Ghats. The occasion coincides with Vivah Panchami, adding religious significance as devotees also honor the union of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Authorities have ensured tight security, crowd management, and smooth coordination to facilitate the historic ceremony. The event represents the culmination of decades of devotion and the realisation of a long-cherished dream for the people of India.
