Ayodhya, November 25, 2025 – Today marks a historic and spiritual milestone as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hoist the sacred saffron flag atop the newly completed Ram Mandir. Coinciding with Vivah Panchami, the day commemorates the divine union of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. The event brings together devotion, tradition, and national pride, witnessed by thousands of devotees and dignitaries alike. The temple, spread over 70 acres, stands as a symbol of centuries-long devotion, with intricate stone carvings and a sanctum housing the 51-inch idol of Lord Ram Lalla. Maharaj Swami Vedmurti Giri of Panchayati Akhara Shri Niranjani described the occasion as “transcendental and unparalleled,” with the saffron flag representing spiritual triumph and collective devotion. Devotees from across India, arriving barefoot in reverence, are witnessing the festivities from Saryu Ghats and Hanumangarhi. The ceremonial rituals include Vedic chanting and offerings at Ram Darbar, Sapt Rishi, and Mata Annapurna temples, followed by the flag hoisting. Specially designed garments for Lord Ram, crafted from Indian textiles and adorned with gold embroidery, reflect regional artistry from north to south India. The day symbolizes fulfillment of centuries of devotion and heralds Ayodhya as a global spiritual landmark.
