A tragic road accident occurred in Uttarakhand’s Almora district when a passenger bus fell into a deep gorge in the Bhikiyasain area near Shilapani. According to police, the bus was carrying around 12 passengers at the time of the accident. Seven people lost their lives, while several others were injured. Soon after receiving information, local administration, police, and SDRF teams rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. The injured passengers were pulled out from the gorge and shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Visuals from the accident site show the bus completely damaged after the fall. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be confirmed, and authorities have started an investigation.
