A fresh political controversy has erupted in Bihar after the Janata Dal (United) raised questions over the government bungalow earlier allotted to former Chief Minister Rabri Devi. JD(U) chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar alleged that multiple basements were constructed inside the Circular Road residence without proper permission. He demanded that once the bungalow is vacated, a full excavation should be carried out to uncover what lies beneath the premises. Neeraj Kumar questioned who granted permission for alleged activities at the residence, especially when key family members were not present. He also claimed that plants and items were being shifted secretly at night and called for an investigation into possible misuse of government property. JD(U) urged the Building Construction Department to conduct a thorough probe, warning that those involved could face legal action.
