Bihar Politics: Bihar Political Temperature Rises After Pappu Yadav’s Arrest

The political situation in Bihar has intensified following the arrest of leader Pappu Yadav. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have openly supported him and strongly criticized the government’s action. Rahul Gandhi, through a social media post, alleged that Pappu Yadav was arrested for raising his voice and demanding justice in the NEET case. He termed the arrest as political revenge, a dangerous conspiracy, and a worrying pattern. He emphasized that the matter is not about politics but about justice. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi also supported Pappu Yadav and questioned the government’s approach. She alleged that the arrest was carried out because he raised his voice on the NEET issue. She described the government’s handling of the matter as frightening and said that everything from the FIR to the investigation appears suspicious. Priyanka Gandhi also questioned who is being protected through this arrest. With both senior Congress leaders backing Pappu Yadav, the issue has now turned into a major political debate, increasing pressure on the government.
