Bihar Elections: PM Modi Claims Bihar Poll Verdict a “Victory of Democracy”, Cites Record Turnout

After the clean sweep in Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi while adddressing the masses at Ramnath Goenka Lecture 2025, shared his Mantra of Atmanirbhar Bharat and his insights on Bihar elections results. He added that Bihar poll verdict is the”Victory of democracy” and highlighted the highest voter turnout, in which women surpassed men by 9 percent, a first in Bihar’s Electoral history. Meanwhile, he said that, the people of bihar had shown trust and faith in BJP-led government which shows that citizens were now more aware of their political rights . He also critisized the opposition, accusing them instead focusing on development they choose the misrule of jungle raj and betrayed all people of Bihar.
