Bihar Elections: NDA’s Sankalp Patra Promises Jobs, Empowerment, and Global Connectivity

The NDA released its Sankalp Patra for the Bihar Assembly Elections in the presence of Dharmendra Pradhan, Vinod Tawde, and state BJP president Dr. Dileep Jaiswal. The manifesto lays out 25 key commitments focused on youth, women, farmers, and the backward communities. It promises over one crore government and private jobs through mega skill centres to make Bihar a global skilling hub. For women, the government pledges ₹2 lakh assistance under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana and aims to create one crore “Lakhpati Didis.” The manifesto also proposes ₹10 lakh support for economically weaker backward castes, along with a Supreme Court-led committee for social and economic assessment. Farmers will receive additional benefits under the Karpuri Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi and expanded MSP coverage. Infrastructure plans include expressways, new airports, metro projects, and an international greenfield airport near Patna, symbolising a modern and connected Bihar.
