Bihar Election 2025: Ashwini Choubey mocks Mahagathbandhan, Tejashwi celebrates 36th birthday

As the final day of campaigning for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 concludes, political rhetoric has intensified across the state. BJP leader Ashwini Choubey launched a scathing attack on the Mahagathbandhan, declaring that after the results, “Pappu, Lappu, Sappu, and Gappu will all be seen in the Bay of Bengal.” He claimed that this “dynastic family will never produce a Chief Minister,” asserting that the people of Bihar will reject leaders promoting crime and corruption. Choubey accused the opposition alliance of empowering criminals and undermining good governance. Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav marked his 36th birthday, drawing large crowds outside Rabri Devi’s residence in Patna. Party workers celebrated enthusiastically with music, slogans, and a massive 36-pound cake, while posters outside read “CM of Bihar.” Tejashwi expressed gratitude to his supporters, calling for blessings to “remove the dishonest government.” His elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav, reacting to being given Y-category security, claimed he faces life threats but also extended heartfelt birthday wishes and blessings to Tejashwi, urging him to move forward in politics. The day also saw fresh controversies erupt as Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera alleged that government files in Bihar were being “stolen or destroyed” to hide evidence of corruption. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi reiterated his charge of “vote theft,” claiming he has substantial proof and would reveal it in due course. He accused Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar of being “jointly responsible for undermining democracy.”
