Big Incident: Suspected Saboteur Dies in Railway Explosion Case

A serious incident has been reported from Patiala, where an attempt was made to blow up a railway track near the Jambu area. According to initial reports, a low-intensity explosion occurred on the rail line, triggering a security alert. Police officials, including SSP Varun Sharma, stated that they received information about the blast and immediately rushed to the spot. Upon investigation, it was found that the explosion appeared to be an attempted sabotage involving a detonator or explosive device. However, during the incident, the person involved in carrying out the blast died on the spot, and his body was recovered from the site. Authorities have termed it an “automated detonation” case and are further investigating the circumstances behind the explosion, including possible motives and links. Security has been tightened in the area, and forensic teams are examining the site for evidence. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
