BIG BREAKING: PM Modi receives grand ceremonial welcome in UAE with fighter jet escort

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a grand ceremonial welcome in the UAE, where he was escorted by fighter jets before landing and later inspected a Guard of Honour alongside the UAE President. Delegation-level talks have begun between the two leaders, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties. During the discussions, PM Modi thanked the UAE for its support to the Indian community and praised its restraint during difficult regional tensions. He also reiterated India’s stance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy in resolving West Asia conflicts and emphasized maintaining peace, stability, and freedom of global trade routes like the Strait of Hormuz. Both countries are expected to sign key agreements, including MoUs in the energy sector, highlighting growing cooperation in energy security and strategic partnership. The visit marks a significant step in deepening India–UAE relations amid shifting geopolitics in the Middle East.
