The investigation into the NEET UG Paper Leak Case has intensified, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) expanding its probe into multiple states and questioning individuals linked to coaching centres and exam processes. A 50-member list connected to paper setting, printing, and distribution has been obtained from the National Testing Agency (NTA), and further arrests are expected. The alleged mastermind, PV Kulkarni from Pune in Maharashtra, a chemistry lecturer, has already been arrested. He is accused of leaking the paper through intermediaries, triggering a wider chain involving several suspects across different regions. So far, around eight people have been arrested, including individuals linked to coaching networks and alleged distributors of the leaked paper. CBI is also questioning coaching institute officials in Latur to trace deeper connections in the network. Meanwhile, public outrage has grown, with student protests erupting over exam irregularities and demands for accountability. The investigation continues as authorities aim to dismantle the entire alleged leak chain and identify all individuals involved in the scam.
