The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will hold a crucial meeting today at 3:00 p.m. inside the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya to discuss key issues related to the recent donation theft controversy and temple administration. The meeting, originally scheduled to be held at Mani Ram Das Chhawani, has been shifted to the temple premises. Trust members will deliberate on the resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra, while also considering possible replacements if the resignations are accepted. The Trust is expected to review the preliminary Special Investigation Team (SIT) report on the alleged donation theft and discuss reforms in temple management, including a new system for counting donations to improve transparency. The proposal to appoint a Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the temple’s financial report will also be on the agenda. Assistant Administrator Gopal Rao, who has also faced questions in connection with the controversy, confirmed that all trust members have been informed and are expected to attend. A press conference may be held after the meeting to announce key decisions.
