Ayodhya Ram Mandir: SIT Formed to Probe Alleged Misappropriation of Offering Funds

The administration has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate allegations of financial irregularities involving donation funds at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The decision comes after a formal request from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which sought a detailed inquiry into the reported disappearance of a portion of the temple’s donation money. According to officials, the SIT will comprise three senior officers who will examine all aspects of the case, including the collection, handling, accounting, and management of donations received by the temple. The investigation aims to determine whether any funds were misappropriated and identify those responsible if wrongdoing is established.
