In Tamil Nadu, the nomination process is set to close today, while in West Bengal, today marks the final day for filing nominations for the first phase covering 152 seats, with withdrawal allowed until April 9. The final voter list will also be published today, forming the basis for polling. The BJP has announced its list of 40 star campaigners for West Bengal, including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Yogi Adityanath. Modi will address party workers via video conference and hold three rallies in Assam. Meanwhile, JP Nadda will campaign in Assam, while Rahul Gandhi is set to campaign in Puducherry and Kerala. Amit Shah will also visit Kerala and Puducherry, appealing for support from Christian communities.
