Asia Cup: Team India returns after Asia Cup victory; Surya Kumar Yadav, Tilak Varma receive grand welcome

After clinching the Asia Cup, the Indian cricket team has returned home to a rousing reception. Surya Kumar Yadav landed in Mumbai, while Tilak Varma received a grand welcome in Hyderabad. Hardik Pandya was also warmly received at Mumbai airport. Fans thronged the airports to cheer the champions, celebrating India’s dominant performance against Pakistan in three high-stakes encounters. Addressing the media, captain Surya Kumar Yadav spoke about the controversy over the Asia Cup trophy, stating the team was focused on performing and standing for the country, dedicating their efforts to the armed forces and victims of past incidents. He emphasized that the real victory lies within the dressing room, team, support staff, and families. Looking ahead, Yadav plans to relax before preparing for upcoming T20 series. Messages of congratulations also poured in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders.
