Alongside Ajit Pawar, four others lost their lives in the tragic crash. Captain Sumit Kapoor, an experienced pilot with over 15,000 hours of flying, was at the controls. He was accompanied by co‑pilot Captain Shambhavi Pathak, who had logged 1,500 hours in the cockpit. Also on board were Pawar’s Personal Security Officer, Vidip Jadhav, and flight attendant Pinky Mali.
Their untimely deaths added to the gravity of the tragedy, leaving families and colleagues mourning across the state.
