In a significant development in the AI Summit protest case, Uday Bhanu Chib, National President of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), has been sent to four days of police remand. Chib was arrested by Delhi Police in connection with the alleged protest during the India AI Impact Summit held at Bharat Mandapam. Following his production before the court, the police sought remand for further questioning. Officials stated that the remand will allow investigators to examine the planning and execution of the protest and identify other individuals who may have been involved.
