The new reports from ABC News, PEOPLE, and Perez Hilton’s website say Anna may have died from a choke-style move called a “bar hold.” These reports say she was found on November 8, 2025, under a bed on the Carnival Horizon, wrapped in a blanket and covered with life vests. The FBI is still working on the case, and no official report has been released yet. But the early details shared by these outlets show no drugs, no alcohol, and no signs of sexual assault. These new facts have made many people online very upset. The story has also raised questions about Anna’s family, her stepsiblings, and what happened inside the cabin before she died.

Perez Hilton reacts as reports say Anna Kepner died from a “bar hold” on Carnival Horizon

ABC News said a source told them Anna died from asphyxiation caused by a “bar hold.” This is when an arm goes across the front of the neck and stops someone from breathing. The source also said there were two bruises on the side of Anna’s neck that look like marks from choking. A security source told ABC News that Anna was found under the bed in her cabin, wrapped in a blanket and covered with life vests. The FBI has not shared the autopsy or toxicology report yet.Perez Hilton’s website also shared the same early details. His report said there were no drugs or alcohol in Anna’s system and no signs of sexual assault. PEOPLE reported that Anna’s 16-year-old stepbrother was taken to a hospital right after her body was found. In a family court filing, her stepmother Shauntel Kepner said she had been told by the FBI that one of her minor children might face criminal charges. The papers did not say if this was linked directly to Anna’s death. In a custody hearing on November 20, an attorney said Anna and the stepbrother were allowed alcoholic drinks because the ship was in international waters. But Shauntel’s lawyer said ship camera video showed no proof of the teens drinking.PEOPLE also said Anna was on the trip with her dad, stepmom, and two stepsiblings. Her obituary calls her “bubbly, funny, outgoing, and completely herself.”With so many painful details and no final answers yet, Perez Hilton’s message now matches how many people feel online: they want clear truth and justice for Anna Kepner. Also Read: Candace Owens Drops Explosive Claim On Charlie Kirk’s Assassination With Shocking Twist About Tyler Robinson Fingerprints
