‘Your entire city council can be Indian’: Frisco resident clashes with Indian-origin Burt Thakur on ‘Indian takeover’

'Your entire city council can be Indian': Frisco resident clashes with Indian-origin Burt Thakur on 'Indian takeover'

Marc Palasciano, a resident of Texas city Frisco, who calls himself a whistleblower, clashed with Burt Thakur, the first Indian-origin councilman, at the city council meeting. Palasciano has been gathering support on social media against Frisco’s alleged Indian takeover, and at the last meeting, he questioned why there were so many Indian-American donors for Frisco mayor Jfef Cheney unless they were getting something in exchange from the administration. At the latest council meeting, Palasciano said the ‘Indian takeover’ is just a part of the big puzzle that is destroying Texas. “A lot of Frisco residents have reached out to me over the last two weeks since I spoke here. They want you to answer questions about why some of the mayor’s biggest donors are Indians that don’t live in Frisco. Is it because the mayor’s real estate business, or is he being bought out to ignore an Indian takeover? Why are people with multiple H-1B companies registered to one address donating to Frisco’s first Indian mayor?” Palasciano said.Countering Burt Thakur’s assertion that the Indian population is 1.6% of America, Palasciano claimed that Indians are 33% of Frisco. “Mayor Cheney, I’ve heard from a lot of real estate agents that they have concerns with you owning one of the largest real estate firms in Frisco. You may not be doing anything illegal, but a lot of people think you’re shady, using your leadership position to benefit your bank account,” he said. At the meeting, Burt Thakur addressed the major “Indian” issue and explained how Indians have been coming to the US for years and strengthening the American Dream, which needs participants. The whistleblower asked the Indian-origin councilman whether he would ask Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to investigate his investors, as Paxton ordered a probe into three firms that employed H-1Bs in the past. “Soon enough your entire City Council can be Indian with how fast the population has grown, and they’re showing up at the voting polls. In 2023, the City of Frisco recognized T-Mobile USA as the biggest private sector employer in the city. Since then, T-Mobile has laid off thousands of Americans across the country and hundreds out of that Frisco office—and I’m one. T-Mobile spent 81.5 million dollars on salaries for H-1B employees in the United States in 2025 — all salaries that could have gone to Americans. Is it a coincidence that T-Mobile has a new Indian CEO?” the self-proclaimed whistleblower said.
