Wife of Jill Biden's ex-husband dies at Delaware home, cops called for 'domestic dispute'

64-year-old Linda Stevenson, the wife of Bill Stevenson, was found dead at her Delaware home after police were allegedly called to a domestic dispute at the address, TMZ claimed. Bill Stevenson is the ex-husband of Jill Biden, the former first lady. Bill and Jill were married between 1970 and 1975. The report said Linda was found unresponsive in the living room when the police arrived responding to the domestic dispute call. She was given life-saving measures by officers but did not survive and was declared dead. New Castle County Police Department are now investigating whether Stevenson’s death was the result of a criminal act. A police spokesman added: “Detectives from the division’s criminal investigations unit were notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.”The incident took place Sunday, and as of Tuesday afternoon, no charges have been filed in connection with Linda’s death. Both Bill and Jill worked for Joe Biden’s first campaign for the Senate. Joe Biden at that time was a councilman of New Castle County. Two years after Bill and Jill got divorced, Jill married Joe Biden in 1977.
