Twitch streamer Blaire “QTCinderella” is facing major backlash after a viral clip showed her defending friendships with people accused of racism and homophobia. The 30-year-old content creator made the remarks during a Twitch stream with Emily “Vanillamace” and KatieB, which was later deleted. In the clip, she said that being kind to someone who has made racist remarks doesn’t make her racist. The comment quickly spread on X, sparking intense debate across the online streaming community.

QTCinderella faces backlash after viral comments on racism and friendships

During the livestream, QTCinderella discussed how people are often judged by their social circles. She said, “I will never believe that if I’m kind to a hateful person, that means I agree with them. If I’m around a racist person, that doesn’t make me racist.” Her statement was reposted on October 25, 2025, by user @daddybludd, who called her take “privileged.” The video quickly went viral, gaining thousands of comments and quote tweets within hours. Another user, @ABWB_Ryan, resurfaced an old clip of her boyfriend, Ludwig Ahgren, alleging he made homophobic jokes during TwitchCon San Diego 2025. The post also mentioned QTCinderella’s friendship with FaZe Clan’s Nick “Lacy”, who has previously made controversial remarks online. During the same stream, QT admitted she wasn’t comfortable with offensive humor, saying, “Lacy makes some homophobic jokes sometimes, and I’m not comfortable with that. He knows he can’t make those jokes around me.” Despite her clarification, many accused her of “enabling harmful behavior” by maintaining friendships with people who’ve made offensive comments.

Vanillamace parts ways as Fanfan backs QTCinderella in online controversy

Following the backlash, Emily “Vanillamace”, who appeared in the same stream, publicly distanced herself from QTCinderella’s views. She wrote, “I was uncomfortable, obviously. You know what I stand for. If you’ve watched me, then you already know.”She later announced she would take a short break from streaming, saying, “I’m stepping back from everything and everyone… gonna touch a little grass.” Meanwhile, streamer Fanfan defended QTCinderella on X, claiming her comments were misinterpreted. Criticizing her for saying people can change misses the point,” Fanfan wrote. However, the defense sparked further debate as users brought up Fanfan’s past controversies, including claims she had “smeared a pro-Palestine café.” She responded sarcastically, “Just repeated what everyone was saying LOL.”As of now, QTCinderella has not made a public statement addressing the situation, but her remarks have become one of the most polarizing discussions in the streaming world this week.
