A controversial social media streamer was removed from a flight after airline staff said his condition following facial surgery raised concerns about whether he was fit to travel. Ronan Androgenic, a 25-year-old influencer based in Brisbane, Australia, shared a video on TikTok showing the moment he was asked to leave a Jetstar flight after boarding. According to Androgenic, he had undergone cosmetic surgery in Thailand just five days earlier and was trying to return home. The video quickly gained attention online. In the footage, Ronan Androgenic can be seen sitting on the aircraft with heavy bandages around his jaw and chin. He claimed airline staff questioned his condition and eventually decided he could not remain on the flight. Ronan Androgenic told viewers that staff were concerned because he did not have his medication with him in his carry-on luggage. However, airline employees also pointed to his physical condition, saying he appeared unusually tired and unwell. Staff members said his responses were slow and that visible swelling around his face and eyes raised concerns about his health.

Ronan Androgenic disputes Jetstar decision after Thailand facial surgery

During the exchange shown in the video, airline staff repeatedly told Ronan Androgenic they were worried about his ability to safely complete the flight. One employee said he appeared drowsy when answering questions. Another pointed to the swelling on his face and told him he did not look well enough to travel.Ronan Androgenic strongly disagreed. He said he was only tired because he was preparing to sleep during the flight. He also stated that a doctor had cleared him to fly after the procedure.According to the video, Ronan Androgenic argued that resting before a long flight was normal. He told staff he needed to get home and felt he was being treated unfairly despite having medical approval. The discussion became more heated as it continued. Airline employees told him that regardless of any documents he had shown earlier, crew members were still responsible for deciding whether a passenger appeared fit to fly at the time of boarding. Staff also said his behavior was becoming disruptive during the disagreement.Jetstar later responded to the incident in a statement provided to News.com.au. The airline said crew members are trained to assess passengers before departure and can refuse travel if they believe someone may not be well enough to fly safely. Jetstar also said abusive language and aggressive behavior toward staff are not accepted.Ronan Androgenic is known online for promoting “looksmaxxing,” a trend focused on improving physical appearance through intense self-improvement, cosmetic procedures, and body modifications. The trend has gained popularity on social media in recent years. Another creator linked to the trend, Clavicular, has also faced controversy in the past for online content that attracted criticism.
