Rapper and streamer Darryl “DDG” has publicly called out Twitch star Zack “Asmongold” after he accused him of viewbotting on his channel. The argument started when Asmongold reacted to DDG’s stream and questioned a sudden spike in his live viewership. The moment quickly spread across social media and triggered a sharp response from the rapper, as DDG did not take the claim lightly. He reacted on stream and accused Asmongold of racism. The rapper suggested that similar accusations are often made against Black creators while others are spared. The exchange then escalated as both creators fired back, turning a technical debate into a full-on verbal spat.

DDG fires back at Asmongold as both streamers exchange sharp words

DDG addressed Asmongold’s comments directly and questioned his intentions. Reacting to the clip, he said, “(Within three minutes, he instantly goes up to eighteen thousand viewers,’ said Asmongold.) Why y’all don’t like black people? What’s going on, bro? I ain’t see y’all. Y’all don’t put these allegations on nobody that looks like y’all, bro… It’s always nias got a viewbot.”The rapper then raised the stakes by making the argument personal. He claimed his financial success surpassed that of Asmongold and fellow streamer xQc. DDG said, “What’s up with you against black people, man? Huh? You view bot, and I got more money than you and xQc combined. Richer than you… Hold my nuts.”Asmongold later responded during his own stream. He dismissed the racism accusation and said the backlash did not bother him. He emphasized that his audience growth is organic. “I don’t give a shit. Call me whatever you want. Say whatever you want. Cry all you want. The only thing you’re going to do for me is make more content for my, get this, real viewers”, Asmongold said. He also claimed his comments were meant to be helpful, not hostile. According to Asmongold, he was simply pointing out a potential issue. Asmongold wrapped up his response with a final remark, saying, “How ungrateful.”The numbers between the two streamers show a clear gap. Asmongold currently has over 3 million followers on Twitch and averages around 33,500 viewers per stream. DDG has about 2 million followers and pulls close to 11,000 viewers per broadcast. For now, both creators remain active, with neither backing down from their stance. Also Read: “It’s worse than dating AI”- Zack Asmongold takes a sly dig at Pokimane buying wedding ring and proposing to herself
