Clix, whose real name is Cody Conrod, is a young American Fortnite player and Twitch streamer. He was born in 2005. He became famous for streaming Fortnite live and winning big esports tournaments. At only 17 years old, Clix shocked everyone by buying a house worth $530,000. He did this after being kicked out by his parents during his early gaming days. His story is real, verified, and shared by Clix himself in interviews.

How Clix first started gaming

Clix did not have his own gaming PC in the beginning. He borrowed one from his dad and promised he would pay him back. He started streaming Fortnite at age 13 and improved very fast. Within weeks, he won small online tournaments and began making real money. His gameplay was fast, sharp, and people loved watching him. Soon, thousands started to join his Twitch streams every day.

When Clix got kicked out by his parents

Clix shared that his parents were not sure if gaming was a “real job.” Because of family issues and fights, he was once kicked out of the house and had to stay with friends. But instead of quitting, he spent even more time gaming and streaming. He proved everyone wrong by earning money from tournament wins, Twitch subs, sponsorships, and YouTube videos. This is when his career started growing fast.

How Clix bought a $530,000 house at just 17

By the time Clix was 17, he was already making hundreds of thousands of dollars from esports, Twitch, brand deals, and his own merch. In 2022, he bought a house worth $530,000 in the United States. This was confirmed by his own stream where he showed parts of the house. It made news everywhere because it is rare for a teenager to legally own a house with his own earnings.

What Clix is doing right now

As of late 2025, Clix is still one of the top Fortnite streamers on Twitch. He recently did brand promotions with companies like CAVA and continues to take part in major Fortnite events.
