What was sprayed on Ilhan Omar during her chaotic town hall meeting?

US Representative Ilhan Omar was attacked with a brownish liquid, which was sprayed during a chaotic town hall meeting in Minnesota late Tuesday. The liquid was believed to be the apple cider vinegar which was sprayed by a 55-year-old Anthony Kazmierczak, who allegedly stormed the podium as the congresswoman was delivering an anti-ICE speech, Alpha News reported, citing sources.A hazmat team also confirmed that the syringe Kazmierczak allegedly used in the attack was filled with the vinegary substance, the outlet added. Minneapolis Council Member LaTrisha Vetaw, who was also hit by some of the liquid, told The Post that the stench was so bad she vomited.“It smelled like vinegar or ammonia,” Vetaw said, adding that the odor was “overwhelming.”“It started out smelling really like apple cider vinegar-smelly. Then it started to smell like ammonia, like a strong, pure ammonia smell, I was wondering why the smell wasn’t going away.”“I got sick to my stomach,” she continued. “I went outside and threw up because, like, the smell was so strong.”Omar was in the middle of criticising Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem and calling for ICE to be abolished when Kazmierczak allegedly accosted her in front of a packed audience.Kazmierczak was caught on video allegedly spraying the amber-coloured liquid over Omar’s chest moments after leaping from his front-row seat and charging towards her. Police officers in the room quickly tackled the alleged perpetrator to the ground and handcuffed him as forensic scientists were called in to process the scene. After being hit with the vinegar, Omar was filmed apparently lunging at her alleged attacker with her fist raised.“I need a napkin,” Omar could be heard asking a staffer.
