What did Ludwig say about HasanAbi’s dog? Ludwig faces heat for retracting claims about HasanAbi’s dog collar

The streaming world has once again found itself in the middle of controversy, this time involving YouTube star Ludwig Ahgren and Twitch streamer HasanAbi. What began as a passing comment about Hasan’s dog, Kaya, quickly spiraled into one of the most-discussed streamer debates of October 2025.

What did Ludwig originally say that sparked the “HasanAbi collar” debate?

On October 21, 2025, a short 49-second clip from Ludwig’s stream went viral on X (formerly Twitter). In it, the Mogul Mail host claimed that HasanAbi might have lied about his pet’s collar.Ludwig said he believed the device on Kaya was a shock collar, adding, “I think he lied about having a shock collar. I think he 100% had a shock collar, based off what’s on my For You page. But that 100% is a shock collar, as a fact. I feel like that s**t is 100% a shock collar.”He also criticized viewers who were hesitant to question Hasan, saying, “you are still pretending to live in a universe where it is, like, brave to speak out against Hasan… It truly, I think, is pathetic.”The clip spread fast, leading to heated discussions across Reddit and X. Many viewers agreed with Ludwig’s blunt take, while others called it a reckless accusation.

Ludwig walks back his comments after reviewing new details

Just three days later, on October 24, Ludwig revisited the topic during another livestream. This time, he seemed to walk back his earlier statement, saying he was now “pretty sure” that HasanAbi’s dog collar was not a shock collar but a vibrating one.He claimed to have reviewed close-up photos of the collar, swearing on his “mother’s life” that he saw no prongs.“I’m pretty sure it’s a vibrating collar. So, maybe, I should’ve said 99% sure instead of 100%,” he said. “I’m not making any other comments about whether he has a shock collar or has shocked her.”Ludwig also mentioned that there was tape on the collar, which he believed was covering Hasan’s phone number. But despite his clarification, many viewers felt it was too late. Comments poured in, accusing him of backpedaling under pressure.

Fans slam Ludwig for backtracking on his own statements

The reaction online was swift and harsh. One X user wrote, “My Lord Hasan has these losers on a leash. None of these people care or give af about being honest or geniune.”Another joked, “Lmao did Hasan put a shock collar on this dude?”.Many felt that Ludwig’s correction didn’t erase the impact of his earlier remarks, and that his credibility took a hit in the process. As of now, HasanAbi hasn’t publicly responded, and the debate continues to divide the streamer community. What started as a simple offhand opinion has turned into one of the biggest streamer dramas of the month. Go to Source
