Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura refining facility in Saudi Arabia was hit by falling debris from the interception of an Iranian drone on Monday, as the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran continues even after Iran’s supreme leader Khamenei’s killing.A Saudi military spokesman made the announcement on the state-run Saudi Press Agency. The Jerusalem Post, quoting a Semafor reporter, said that the fire was small, isolated and under control. Online videos from the site showed thick black smoke rising after the attack. The facility was shut following the attack, heightening supply concerns, as shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, which carries about a fifth of the world’s oil, has nearly come to a standstill following attacks on vessels in the area on Sunday.

Press TV also reported an Iranian missile strike at Salman Port in Bahrain. Iranian media claimed the port was being used to transport American logistical equipment meant for a strike on Iran. The drone strikes came amid a broader wave of attacks by Iran across the region, hitting Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Manama and Oman’s commercial port of Duqm. Most oil production in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region was shut down over the weekend as a precaution
