UAE weather forecast: Foggy mornings and humid conditions expected this week

Early mornings across parts of the UAE are expected to remain sticky and hazy over the coming days, with the National Centre of Meteorology warning of recurring humidity and the possibility of fog or light fog in several inland and coastal areas. Meanwhile, clouds, light rain, and shifting winds are forecast to shape the week ahead.The NCM has forecast humid conditions during the morning hours in parts of the country, with fog or light fog likely to form at times until January 31. Beyond the early hours, weather conditions are expected to remain generally fair to partly cloudy. Low clouds may appear intermittently over eastern, northern, and coastal areas, occasionally bringing light, scattered rainfall. Temperatures are expected to rise gradually on Thursday before dropping noticeably on Friday.Today is expected to start with humid conditions across some inland and coastal areas, where fog or light fog may develop before clearing gradually. As the day progresses, conditions should turn fair to partly cloudy, with low cloud cover over eastern regions and a chance of light rain during the morning hours. Winds will be north westerly before shifting south easterly, blowing at light to moderate speeds of 10 to 25 km/h and occasionally reaching up to 35 km/h. The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.Similar weather is forecast for Wednesday, with humidity lingering during the morning and fog possible over some inland and coastal areas, particularly in western regions. Skies will then turn fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds forming over eastern and northern areas. Winds will be south easterly to north easterly at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally strengthening to 35 km/h, while sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.On Thursday, humid mornings are expected to continue, with light fog possible along some coastal areas. Cloud cover may increase at times over coastal and northern regions, bringing a chance of light rainfall at night alongside a gradual rise in temperatures. By Friday, conditions are set to turn cooler, with cloudier skies, a chance of rain, stronger winds, rougher seas, and a noticeable drop in temperatures.
