- 10 years for citizens aged 21 years and above
- 5 years for citizens under the age of 21
This applies when the service requested is renewal. In the case of replacement, the new ID card will be issued with the same validity period remaining on the existing card. Applicants cannot alter or extend the validity duration manually in any scenario.
