Billionaires around the world always have a different story of wealth as business scenarios change with time. There are more than 2600 billionaires globally, out of which over a third of billionaires live in the United States, followed by China ranking at number two globally. The number of billionaires has reportedly accelerated and declined from the 2020 pandemic downfall, regaining in 2021, with again facing a downfall in 2023 and stabilising its numbers in 2024. The number of billionaires by country defines how the economy is building to accelerate in the world. With decelerating and regaining the numbers in 2024, according to World Population Review, United States has able to maintain its ranking with the largest number of billionaires around the list of countries with maximum number. United States (902 billionaires)

The United States sits far ahead of everyone else, which is about 902 billionaires in total. As the driving force behind Tesla, SpaceX, and several other ventures, Musk’s wealth has fluctuated sharply in recent years, often tied to stock market movements.

China (450 billionaires)

China comes next, with roughly 450 billionaires. A lot of this wealth appeared during the country’s tech boom, including apps, platforms, and online services. Zhang Yiming, founder of ByteDance, is among China’s most notable billionaires.

India (205 billionaires)

Germany (171 billionaires)

Russia (140 billionaires)

Canada (76 billionaires)

Canada has 76 billionaires, not a huge number, but noticeable for its size. Finance and resources matter, including tech playing a major role too. Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, is one of the most talked-about figures who founded Binance.

Italy (74 billionaires)

Italy has 74 billionaires. Giovanni Ferrero tops the list, including Nutella, Kinder, Ferrero Rocher. The company grew slowly, then globally to achieving a rank in the list of country billionaires.

Hong Kong (66 billionaires)
