“The real monsters”: Rob Schneider blasts Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes, warns conservatives at TPUSA’s AmFest

Actor Rob Schneider urged conservatives at AmFest to avoid letting fringe figures like Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes define their movement. He cautioned that elevating extreme rhetoric alienates persuadable voters, emphasizing the importance of strategic messaging and internal accountability to maintain credibility and influence. Schneider stressed distinguishing moderates from extremists.

As tensions within the conservative movement continue to rise, Rob Schneider has made the decision to speak out. During his appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmFest, the actor addressed what he considers to be a concerning trend on the right with a combination of humor and direct speech. Schneider said that the movement’s larger message is being undermined by persistent infighting, which is fueled by divisive figures. He underlined that credibility is still important because voters are becoming less patient and divisions are becoming more difficult to overlook. Schneider urged conservatives to consider carefully who represents them in public rather than advocating for censorship.

Rob Schneider draws a sharp line between moderation and extremism on the right

At the core of Schneider’s message was a warning about confusing moderation with extremism. “If we let the Candace Owenses and the Nick Fuenteses become our dominant voices, we are going to make the exact mistake the left made,” he said, arguing that fringe figures should not define conservatism.

Schneider stressed that disagreement should not lead to silencing, but visibility still comes with consequences. Conservatives, he noted, do not have the support of Hollywood or most mainstream media outlets, which makes strategic messaging even more important. Elevating extreme rhetoric, he warned, risks pushing away persuadable voters who may agree on policy but reject chaos. He also pushed back against lumping mainstream conservatives into the same category as extremists. “Charlie Kirk was not Nick Fuentes,” Schneider said. “Not even close.” He added that labeling moderates as radicals only “hides the real monsters among us.”Despite the seriousness of his point, Schneider leaned into satire to drive it home. “Candace Owens has promised to be three percent less completely retarded,” he joked, before adding another biting line about Fuentes: “Nick Fuentes actually said women should not be allowed to vote. So obviously not all his ideas are bad.”Behind the jokes, Schneider’s message was clear. Without internal accountability, conservatives risk losing trust, focus, and ultimately, influence. Also Read: “Never liked Charlie”: Candace Owens accuses Ben Shapiro of foreign allegiance as conspiracy claims over Charlie Kirk’s murder intensify
