Tesla dashcam captures military plane crash-landing in Oklahoma, narrowly missing car; social media calls it ‘AI-generated’

A terrifying ‘movie-like’ video captured the moment a military aircraft crash-landed on a busy Oklahoma highway, narrowly missing a Tesla and other vehicles.Tesla driver Matthew Topchian witnessed the life-changing event and recorded the scene on his dashcam. “I was just driving down the road, and then out of nowhere, right above a tree I was looking and saw the plane, and I was like, ‘That plane looks low. Like really, really low,’” he told KOCO News 5. The Oklahoma National Guard plane was returning from a training mission out of Will Rogers Air National Guard Base on Thursday when it suffered engine failure just before 2 pm. The crew was forced to make an emergency landing near Southeast 119th Street and Sooner Road in Oklahoma City.Topchian said the aircraft came out of nowhere, gliding just above the treeline and nearly striking a white van before almost hitting his car with its wing. “As it kept coming coming coming, I was like that plane is about to hit me. It was only a couple seconds I saw it, so it wasn’t much time to sit there and think like that’s a, you know it was just a bam, bam, bam, bam, get out of there,” he said.Once the plane passed, Topchian pulled over to gather himself and assess the situation. “They, like, took down, like, I think it was power lines or something, so, there was a lot of fire everywhere,” he said. “I thought the plane had blown up, and I called my mom, like, ‘Hey, I don’t know what’s going on.’”Emergency crews rushed to the site, where they found both pilots safely out of the wreckage, reports the New York Post. The impact tore through power lines, caused a temporary blackout in the area, and triggered a grass fire. Traffic signs were even lodged in the aircraft’s wing. The Air Force Special Operations Command confirmed that the cause of the crash is under investigation.Topchian later shared the dashcam footage online, and many viewers thought it was AI-generated. “Every single person was like that’s AI, that Sora, that’s AI that’s not real, like, dude, that is my dashcam, that just happened,” he said. “If it wasn’t any dashcam, people wouldn’t believe that something like that would happen because it’s just so out there. It’s like something out of a movie.”Grateful to be alive, he added, “Tomorrow’s not promised, live for today.” Go to Source
