Social media trolls Donald Trump after he claims he is 'better looking' than Zohran Mamdani; 'Elon gifted him an AI Mirror'

Donald Trump’s latest 60 Minutes appearance became a trolling fest for social media after the US President claimed he is “better looking” than New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani.During the interview, correspondent Norah O’Donnell asked Trump what he thought about comparisons between him and Mamdani. “Some people have compared him to a left-wing version of you, charismatic, breaking the old rules. What do you think about that?” she asked.Trump smiled and replied, “Well, I think I’m a much better looking person than him, right?”The remark went viral, with netizens mocking the 79-year-old MAGA chief’s confidence. Users called Trump’s comment “absurd,” noting Mamdani’s youthful appeal and popularity among young voters. “He’s got the smile, the vibe, the energy. Trump just has the spray tan,” one X user said. However, some suggested that the GOP leader was simply joking and trying to lighten the conversation. “He was clearly having fun with it. People take everything he says too seriously,” one user said. The moment came amid Trump’s fiery remarks about the NYC mayoral race, where he appeared to lean towards supporting Andrew Cuomo over Mamdani, calling the latter a “communist.” and not exacatly backing cuomo but saying he has no hoice, as he would rather pick a “bad democrat” rather than a “communist”.In his early 30s, Donald Trump also had a striking public image — young, confident, and sharply dressed as he built his real estate empire. Photos from the time show him as the classic 1980s businessman, with tailored suits, a confident smile, and an undeniable air of ambition and charm.
