‘Shut up Trump’: Iran mocks US president with AI-video over ceasefire extension on ‘Pakistan’s request’

'Shut up Trump': Iran mocks US president with AI-video over ceasefire extension on 'Pakistan's request'

Iran mocked US President Donald Trump through an AI-generated video on ‘how Trump agreed to a ceasefire’The Iranian consulate in Hyderabad posted the video on X with the caption, “How was the ceasefire extended? The video is getting viral in Iran.” The 45-second AI clip shows a fictionalised Trump, along with Vice President JD Vance and others, waiting at a negotiation table as Iranian representatives do not arrive. It depicts Trump posting on Truth Social that, “We are having very great negotiations with Iran.”The video then uses a meme-style sequence showing a frustrated Trump threatening action if Iran does not engage, before an aide hands him a note reading, “Shut up, Trump.” The clip ends with the AI Trump saying he will extend the ceasefire at Pakistan’s request. The post comes after Trump announced an extension of the ceasefire with Iran at Pakistan’s request, saying it was aimed at giving Tehran more time to prepare a unified proposal for peace talks.Iran has not yet confirmed participation in the next round of talks expected in Pakistan, with its foreign ministry stating that Tehran had entered negotiations in good faith but accusing the US of showing “disregard and lack of good faith” amid the blockade that remains in the Strait of Hormuz.
