‘She got money and moved next door’: Miley Cyrus jokes 'superfan' Alex Cooper is 'kinda creepy' at Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special

Miley Cyrus jokingly called out “superfan” Alex Cooper as “kinda creepy” during the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special in Hollywood on Monday. The 33-year-old singer and actress playfully teased the Call Her Daddy podcaster, 31, for moving in next door to her, making the remark on stage at the El Capitan Theatre while celebrating the hit Disney Channel series, Daily Mail reported. The Grammy winner also thanked Cooper, who hosted the event, for helping bring the nostalgic special to life—quipping that she had “creepily” become her neighbour after interviewing her in her garden back in August 2020.Miley said: “I wanted to thank Alex myself because I was driving out to the archives to go look what I had collected, some say hoarded but I say collected and preserved from every era and not just Hannah Montana but throughout my career. “But I called her with this wild idea, “Do you think it could be a good idea to do a Hannah Montana anniversary special?” But because I was in the middle of it and was Hannah I didn’t know what you would all want.“Alex being a superfan… it’s kinda creepy… she is also my neighbour, which is also creepy. She got money and then moved next door to me.”The Disney alum also said: “There was no other host, I was like I’ll just walk next door, yeah it was weird. “And she was like, “Oh my god you live here” and she had interviewed me at my house five years ago so she new where I was.”Miley added: “There was no other host, I was like I’ll just walk next door, it was weird. And she was like, “Oh my god you live here” and she had interviewed me at my house five years ago so she new where I was”Miley added: “There was no other host, I was like I’ll just walk next door, it was weird.
