In a heart-warming gesture that reflects a deep commitment to community happiness, Dubai Police surprised three-year-old Sara Nabil Ahmadi by fulfilling her wish to wear the force’s uniform and enjoy a field tour in the luxury patrol cars across the emirate. The initiative began during a community event at a local hospital, where Sara expressed her dream of becoming a “little police officer.” The School Security Initiative team quickly stepped in to turn that dream into reality, underscoring Dubai Police’s focus on bringing joy to children and strengthening community ties. Sara and her family were welcomed at Dubai Police Headquarters by Captain Majid bin Saad Al Kaabi, Head of the School Security Initiative team, and Lieutenant Maryam Essa Sanqour, the team’s Deputy Head, along with a number of officers. The team presented Sara with a commemorative gift and a child-sized Dubai Police uniform before accompanying her on a tour in the force’s luxury patrols through the city, capturing keepsake photos and creating memories she will treasure.Captain Al Kaabi said the gesture aligns with Dubai Police’s approach to positive community engagement and to nurturing a sense of happiness and national belonging among children, reflecting the organisation’s modern and humane image at home and abroad. This is not the first time Dubai Police have brought such joy to children. Back in 2022, as part of their ‘Fulfil a Child’s Wish’ initiative, they surprised a six-year-old Arab girl on her birthday by appointing her a “police officer” for a day and giving her a ride in one of the force’s luxury patrol cars. Such gestures reflect Dubai Police’s ongoing commitment to spreading happiness and fostering positive connections with the community.
