As the United Arab Emirates prepares to mark its 54th Eid Al Etihad, Dubai’s Salik toll operator has introduced a competition inviting residents to test their knowledge and win rewards. The initiative coincides with the nation’s celebrations, offering participants a tangible incentive to engage with the spirit of the season.

A four week quiz challenge

Starting immediately and running until Eid Al Etihad on 2 December 2025, Salik will release one question each week. Over the four-week period, five winners will be selected to receive two recharge cards each, valued at AED 400. Every correct answer increases participants’ chances of winning.Salik has not confirmed where the weekly questions will appear, maintaining an element of anticipation. The operator has encouraged residents to join the contest and participate actively, emphasising engagement and inclusivity in the competition.

Linking with national month celebrations

The quiz forms part of a broader UAE National Month campaign, which runs from Flag Day on 3 November until Eid Al Etihad. This nationwide initiative commemorates key national occasions while highlighting the country’s achievements and fostering civic pride. Throughout the month, a variety of national, community, and cultural events will take place, providing opportunities for all segments of society to express their connection to the UAE’s identity and history. Salik’s quiz complements this effort, engaging the public directly in the celebratory period.

Participation and rewards

Each week, a new question will be released, though the specific platform remains unconfirmed. Participants who answer correctly will increase their chances of being selected for the prize draw. Five winners will ultimately receive two recharge cards worth AED 400 each, a practical reward that reflects Salik’s role in the daily lives of Dubai’s motorists.Residents are encouraged to follow Salik’s announcements closely to ensure they do not miss the opportunity. By combining knowledge, engagement, and celebration, the initiative merges the festive spirit of Eid Al Etihad with a shared sense of national pride.
