.

A woman accused of placing razor blades inside loaves of bread at two Walmart stores in Biloxi, Mississippi, was arrested Tuesday, said police.Camille Benson, 33, of Texas, was charged with attempted mayhem, with her bond set at $100,000.Lt Candace Young, a public information officer for the Biloxi Police Department said customers reported finding razor blades in bread purchased at a Walmart Supercenter and a Walmart Neighborhood Market. The first report came on December 5, when a customer told Walmart employees they had found a razor blade in a loaf bought from the Walmart Supercenter. A second report followed on December 8 after a customer who purchased bread from the Walmart Neighborhood Market reported finding a razor blade. After another customer complained on Sunday, employees inspected the bread on the shelves and discovered several more loaves that appeared to have been tampered with. The Biloxi Police Department was notified on Monday. In a press release, police urged anyone who bought bread from the two Biloxi Walmart locations to inspect their purchases and report any findings.“The health and safety of our customers is always a top priority,” Walmart said in a statement. “We have removed and thoroughly inspected all potentially affected products at impacted stores in Biloxi. We appreciate law enforcement for their swift action and will continue cooperating with them as they investigate.”Police said they do not believe any other stores were targeted.Walmart advised customers who believe they purchased a tampered product to throw it away immediately and visit their local store for a full refund.
