Qatar announces fuel prices for February 2026: Petrol and diesel rates drop

QatarEnergy Announces Fuel Prices for February 2026/Representative mage

QatarEnergy has announced fuel prices for February 2026, with petrol and diesel rates lower than those in January. According to the announcement, reductions have been made across all fuel categories compared with January 2026. The revised prices for February are:

  • Premium-grade petrol: QR1.80 per litre
  • Super petrol: QR1.85 per litre
  • Diesel: QR1.90 per litre

The adjustments follow Qatar’s fuel pricing mechanism, which links domestic prices to movements in the international market. The system was introduced by the Ministry of Energy and Industry, with fuel prices pegged to global rates to better reflect market conditions.Since September 2017, QatarEnergy has been responsible for announcing the official fuel price list each month. The prices are typically released at the end of the preceding month and take effect from the first day of the new month.Monthly fuel price announcements are closely watched by motorists and businesses, as changes can influence transport costs and day-to-day expenses.
