Middle East war: 5 Indians injured in Abu Dhabi as fire breaks out after missile interception

Five Indian nationals were injured in UAE on Saturday after debris fell following the interception of a ballistic missile near the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD).According to Abu Dhabi media office the incident occurred in the vicinity of KEZAD after air defence systems successfully intercepted the incoming missile, leading to falling debris in the area. Officials confirmed that five individuals were injured in the aftermath, sustaining injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

“As part of the ongoing follow-up to the previously reported incident in the vicinity of Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – KEZAD caused by falling debris following the successful interception of a ballistic missile by air defence systems, authorities confirm that the incident has resulted in injuries ranging from moderate to minor sustained by five individuals of an Indian nationality,” the statement said.

Authorities urged the public to rely only on verified information and avoid circulating rumours. “The public is advised to obtain information only from official sources and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified information,” the statement added.
