Marjorie Taylor Greene hits back at Trump on H-1B with 8 objections; ‘America First and America Only’

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene did not like US President Donald Trump’s recent comments suggesting that the US should welcome more skilled foreign workers under the H-1B visa program due to a lack of “talent” in the US. The influential Republican, Greene, took to X to defend American workers, saying, “I believe in the American people. I am one of you.” I believe you are good, talented, creative, intelligent, hard working, and want to achieve.”She was keen on opposing the replacement of Americans by foreign labour. “I am solidly against you being replaced by foreign labor, like with H1Bs. I am solidly against allowing foreign students into our colleges and universities, like 600,000 Chinese students, just to financially prop them up. If they fail, they fail. The system in place isn’t helping our young people anyways,” she posted.Greene also slammed foreign aid and US involvement abroad, adding, “I am against foreign aid, foreign wars, and sending a single dollar to foreign countries. I am against bringing any foreign leader that is a terrorist or oversees killing innocent people into our country and into the Oval Office. They do not deserve our support.” “I am elected to represent my district and the American people, no other country, and I only serve Americans. I am America First and America Only. This is my way and there is no other way to be,” Greene concluded in her long message. The Congresswoman’s remarks come after Trump, in a Fox News interview with Laura Ingraham, said the US is in dire need of skilled workers for critical industries. The MAGA chief said US lacks talented workers and needs help from abroad in critical sectors like tech and defence. He added that highly technical roles cannot rely solely on long-term unemployed Americans. The GOP base was not happy with Trump’s remarks, who said the US president betrayed them by not putting ‘America first.’
