Link Lauren did not hold back after watching clips from the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. The media personality openly slammed the show and said he had not watched a single nominated film this year. He also called the ceremony “cringe” and “quite simply, not funny.” The 2026 Golden Globes took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 11. While the night celebrated big wins for films and actors, Link Lauren chose to stay away. Instead, he shared his thoughts online and made it clear that the show no longer interests him.The awards honored films like Hamnet, One Battle After Another, The Secret Agent, and KPop Demon Hunters. Actors Timothée Chalamet and Jessie Buckley took home major acting awards. Still, Lauren said none of it made him want to tune in. His comments quickly caught attention on social media, as the Golden Globes continued to trend during and after the show.

This time, he talked about a film he is excited to watch. He posted the trailer for a documentary about Melania Trump, released in December 2025, and wrote:“The Golden Globes are tonight and I haven’t even turned on the TV. The film won Best Picture, Drama. Producer Steven Spielberg praised director Chloé Zhao during his speech. He said:“Sam Mendes sent me the book by Maggie O’Farrell, Hamnet, and I love the book. It tells the story of William Shakespeare and Agnes Shakespeare after losing their son, Hamnet, during a plague. That loss later leads to the play Hamlet.Released in November 2025, the film stars Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley. Buckley won Best Actress – Drama and later spoke about being open as an artist. She said:“I see how strong and tender you all are, and how much of yourselves you share with the world. I salute your bravery and dedication.”Also Read: Top 10 Most Viewed YouTube Videos In The World Go to Source
