Kick streamer Nermin “Cheesur” has shut down his X Community after a wild rumor spread online linking him to the reported killing of Mexican drug lord Nemesio “El Mencho” Rubén Oseguera Cervantes. The claim started from a viral post on X and quickly gained millions of views. Cheesur denied the talk during a February 23, 2026 livestream and said his own community had turned against him. Soon after, he deleted the group live on stream. On February 22, 2026, an X user named @ClippedHubb posted that Cheesur was being “credited online” with giving key information that helped the Mexican military kill El Mencho, who is known as the leader of the cartel CJNG. The post spread fast and crossed 3.2 million views before it was deleted. There has been no official statement from Mexican authorities confirming any link between Cheesur and the situation. The next day, Cheesur went live and spoke directly to viewers. He said he felt betrayed and claimed people were blaming him for something he had nothing to do with. During the stream, he used angry language and strong words to express how upset he was. He swore that his X Community, known as YTG, would be deleted that same day. A few minutes later, he removed it while still live.

After the livestream, clips of Cheesur’s reaction spread across X and Kick. Many users debated whether the rumor was just online trolling that went too far.Kick streamer Cameron “Cuffem” also shared his thoughts on X. He wrote that fans had gone “too far” with the situation and said the hate was not funny. He added, “Too far with this Cheesur st. Prime example how toxic this st is… Prayers for cheese and kae s**t ain’t funny. Yall treat us like scums no troll.”When another X user replied that streamers sometimes “enable” their audience, Cuffem responded with, “Yall wanna see one of us die to spam ‘Ws’.”Cheesur also said during his stream that after what he felt was a strong broadcast, he opened social media and saw only hate. He called some fans “parasocial” and said the community was not the same as when he first started streaming from his apartment. As of now, the original viral post is deleted, and there is no confirmed proof tying Cheesur to any real-world operation involving El Mencho. The situation shows how fast online claims can grow and how quickly fan communities can change tone when rumors take over social media.
