A new conflict has broken out in the livestreaming world after model and actress Keenyah Hill threatened legal action against Twitch streamer Maxwell “Plaqueboymax.” The situation began with what seemed like a simple interaction during one of Plaqueboymax’s IRL streams. Hill approached him during the stream, and the streamer told her that his song “Victory Lap” had been nominated for the Grammys. He also shared that he had earned nominations for several categories at The Streamer Awards 2025. Hill then asked if she could feature him in her Instagram Story. However, things took a strange turn when Hill suddenly asked the streamer for “a little smooch” while recording the clip. Plaqueboymax appeared shocked and backed away, saying repeatedly that he could not do that. Moments later, the interaction went viral. What followed was a heated response from Hill, who later claimed that she told the streamer not to use the footage publicly and accused him of ignoring her request.

Keenyah Hill lashes out and warns Plaqueboymax of legal action

Keenyah Hill later spoke about the situation through a series of Instagram Stories. She accused Plaqueboymax and his team of filming people “obnoxiously” during the IRL stream. Hill stated that she did not know the streamer and had no idea who he was when she approached him. She also emphasized that she clearly told them not to use the clip after what she called his “little outburst.” In her Instagram Live and stories, Hill said, “You guys were filming stuff obnoxiously with every single person who recognized him. I don’t even know this guy. I walked up to you after his little outburst. He probably not even date Black women. But I said to you guys very clearly, ‘Please don’t use that footage.’ And I don’t know what collegiate level you guys are at, if you guys went to college or whatever. But I asked you not to use that footage. Not only did you use the footage, but out of everybody there, you talked to a lot of people; we heard you a mile away. That was the only footage that you used.”Hill then directly threatened the streamer, warning that she was prepared to take the matter to court if necessary. She added, “I verbally told you not to use it. I have so many things going on right now that I don’t have time to take you to court, but I dare you. I dare you to try me because now you are talking up my time. These three minutes that I have taken to post this, I could’ve been making money.”Plaqueboymax has also responded to Hill’s accusations or her threat of legal action. On his latest stream, he said, “I didn’t want to kiss you, then after you’re threatening to sue me.. I didn’t want those lips. I wasn’t tryna do that”. The controversy continues to grow as both fans and creators wait to see how the streamer will further address the situation in case the matter escalates further in court.
