Kash Patel threw tantrums during Charlie Kirk investigation, didn’t leave plane without ‘FBI’ jacket: Report

Kash Patel threw tantrums during Charlie Kirk investigation, didn't leave plane without 'FBI' jacket: Report

When FBI director Kash Patel flew to Utah soon after his friend Charlie Kirk was assassinated, he was not ready to get down from the FBi jet. He did not his own FBI raid jacket with him on the plane and he refused to step down frpm the plane without wearing one, a new damning report has now claimed. The report is a 6-month report card on Patel’s leadership by ex-FBI agents and while Patel was already embroiled in several controversies, the report added more to that. FBI special agents at the Salt Lake City had to pause their work on the Kirk case and ask around to find a spare medium-sized jacket that would fit Patel. A female agent’s jacket was delivered to Patel on the plane but he complained that two areas on the upper sleeved tdid not velcro patches attached. Patel would not leave the plane “until he had two patches to cover those areas” so members of an FBI SWAT Team took patches off their uniforms and ran those patches over to Patel at the airport. The patches were then attached to the loaner FBI raid jacket and Patel disembarked from the plane.Patel was not happy with the investigation and yelled at Special Agent-in-Charge Robert Bohls for which Patel’s deputy Dan Bongino had to later apologize, the report said. The report will be presented to the House and Senate Judiciary Committee this week. The writers of the report said that thet never intended it to be a hit piece but the anecdotes from FBI personnel turned it negative. The report concluded that Patel is “in over his head” and his deputy Bongino is something of a clown. The 115-page report described FBI as a rudderless ship and “all f**ked up”. President Trump rubbished all the rumors that Patel would be fired and asserted that Patel had been working great. Patel has angered a section of MAGA as his girlfriend Alexis Wilkins sued rightwing podcasters who claimed she was an Israeli honeypot and honeytrapped FBI director.
