‘It’s my fault’: Is ICE shooting victim Renee Nicole Good’s partner responsible for her death — here’s what we know

Grief spilled onto the pavement in south Minneapolis moments after gunfire shattered a quiet street. Rebecca Good, 40, the widow of Renee Nicole Good, was filmed sobbing, “it’s my fault” after her partner was killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, The New York Post reported.Rebecca Good was outside the car when Renee drove at an ICE officer, who opened fire on Wednesday, hitting the mother of three in the head and killing her.In the aftermath of the shooting, footage showed Good’s wife slumped on the ground with her dog beside her crying.“I made her come down here, it’s my fault,” the woman said. “They just shot my wife.”It remained unknown whether Renee Good and her partner were residents of the neighbourhood where ICE was conducting an operation at the time of the shooting.A video taken by a bystander from outside his house showed him asking the widow if there was anyone he could call for her.“I have a six-year-old at school… we’re new here, we don’t have anyone,” she said in response. The couple appeared to have a small business, B. Good Handwork, with images from the company’s social media showing them handling projects together.Rebecca Good and her wife recently moved to Minneapolis from Kansas City, Missouri.
