'It was not in India': Australian model reacts to her viral video of 'American tourist caught peeing in Udaipur'

Australian model Ellie-Jean Coffey clarified that her viral video is not in India.

A video has gone viral claiming that an American tourist was caught peeing into a lake in Udaipur, India, from a boat. The video surfaced at a time when there is an anti-India wave in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Australia, where people are openly calling out for the deportation of immigrants, including Indians. Riding on the wave, several unconfirmed videos of Indians littering in public in other countries are teeming the social media. A reverse of this trend was certain to go viral as Indian social media handles celebrated that they caught a American woman relieving herself in a lake in India but now the woman, Ellie Jean Coffey, has clarified that she is an Australian and the viral video was taken the Aussie outback.”A white female tourist from the United States of America—the greatest country on this planet—was caught relieving herself in a lake in Udaipur, Rajasthan. May God bless her, and may god continue to bless the United States of America—the greatest country on this planet,” one wrote.

“White tourists are pooping openly in lakes of Udaipur, India. Whites are not beating the unhygienic allegations,” another wrote. “And these are the same Americans who lecture us on ‘civic sense’. The ones who stereotype Indians as unhygienic now doing this abroad,” a third user wrote. Some called it ‘payback time’; some asked for her deportation. The woman in the viral video, a 30-year-old Australian model, spoke out and said: “I’m setting the record straight: im Australian: this is the Aussie outback: IT WAS NOT IN INDIA.” A crocodile can be seen nearby, and in her clarification video, she wrote, ‘Croc almost got me.’The video is from the Lake Argyle, located in Kimberley near the town of Kununurra.
