Is HasanAbi serious about quitting Twitch streaming in 2026? His latest rant suggests mounting frustration

HasanAbi hinted he may quit Twitch streaming in 2026 during a heated livestream, expressing frustration with his community’s behavior toward fellow creators. He criticized viewers for misplaced aggression, warned of bans, and admitted he “hates Twitch streaming.” While no final decision was announced, his comments signaled burnout and raised real questions about his future on the platform.

HasanAbi may quit Twitch streaming in 2026, a statement that sent ripples through his audience after a tense moment on a recent livestream. The political commentator was not jesting at the thought. It emerged in an uncivilized call where impatience overtook his customary restraint, and there came the shebang criticized in a relationship that he has long nurtured with his audience. The moment felt less like a threat and more like exhaustion speaking out loud. HasanAbi addressed what he sees as misplaced aggression within his community, especially when it spills over onto people he considers friends. His message was blunt, emotional, and impossible to ignore.

HasanAbi says Twitch streaming has become exhausting

During the stream, HasanAbi openly admitted how draining the platform has become for him. Responding to chat behavior he felt crossed a line, he said, “‘Chat is not listening to you, HasanAbi.’ Jesus Christ, dude! I fking… I hate Twitch streaming. I genuinely. Maybe, 2026, I just quit. Maybe, 2026, I just quit Twitch streaming, and I just go to, like, either full-time video on demand YouTube videos or just like go away entirely. I just, I can’t. It’s so lame. It’s so shty. Everything sucks!” The frustration stemmed from viewers attacking other creators, including people close to him. After a moderator warned the chat to stop brigading a friend’s stream, HasanAbi made his stance clear. He told viewers to “be normal” and warned that bans would follow if the behavior continued. His anger was not performative. It was protective. He expanded on that frustration by pointing out what he sees as a warped sense of priorities. “Do not do fking dumb st like that. What the f**k’s wrong with you guys, bro?” he said, before urging viewers to focus their energy elsewhere. “Preserve your energy and use it in the appropriate direction.”HasanAbi also criticized viewers for targeting streamer Atrioc, arguing that attacking politically aligned creators makes no sense. He urged them to challenge real political actors instead.Whether he ultimately leaves Twitch or not, the message was clear. HasanAbi is tired of policing his own audience, and 2026 now feels like a genuine crossroads rather than idle talk.
